If you love helping people achieve health goals, you’ll love being part of the cohesive team on the newly remodeled Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. Rehab nurses play a life-improving part in a patient’s care plan, providing patients with extraordinary healthcare while giving them daily encouragement as they make strides toward physical independence. With a collaborative, engaged medical director and leaders who value a team-based approach, nurses on this unit have access to advanced rehabilitation tools, including an antigravity machine, spacious ADA-approved bathrooms, and an apartment-like space to help patients practice activities of daily living—like cooking and navigating the bathtub—before heading home. This is an exciting time to join the momentum of this growing team!
