Functioning within the Health System’s mission, values, objectives, policies and procedures, the Data Entry Clerk enters demographics and charges into Computer System. It is expected that all duties and responsibilities of this position will be performed in a manner that reflects the mission statement of LMHS.
Education: High school graduate or equivalent is required with an emphasis on a business curriculum strongly preferred
Experience: A minimum of one year experience in a health care organization an including experience with word processing and computer experience (Word/Excel)preferred) is required.
Skills: Knowledge of business practices, policies and procedures required. Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize and organize work and the ability to work accurately, efficiently and independently. Must have basic skills in using a computer and calculator, and demonstrate the ability to examine information for accuracy and completeness, the ability to communicate clearly on all levels, and the. ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
