Who We Are Hillcrest Medical Center, the flagship hospital of Hillcrest HealthCare System, is a 620-bed hospital among Oklahoma’s most widely respected and acclaimed hospitals, offering extraordinary care and a multitude of services in many areas including Oklahoma’slargest dedicated heart hospital. We are recruiting a Controller to join our Finance team! The Controller is responsible for all accounting, budgetary and financial planning and reporting activities within the departments/units of the hospital organization. Ensures proper financial budgeting, planning and reporting activities occur as appropriate within the organization. This position will directly report to the CFO of the hospital. What You’ll Do To perform this job successfully, the ideal candidate must be able to perform the following duties successfully: 1. Oversee all aspects of accounting, including month end close, preparing internal financial statements, and preparing various reports 2. Manage the accounting staff of the hospital, ensuring timely completion of close procedures and daily accounting duties 3. Address any budget variances and providing detailed explanations for the CFO and CEO, as well as various department directors 4. Review monthly departmental results with directors, and reviewing variances to budget as well as expectations 5. Complete monthly operations report summarizing operational and financial performance for presentation to corporate and division management 6. Report daily on productivity and ensuring reporting is accurate in order to address staffing concerns in real time 7. Prepare detailed analyses as needed for senior management in order to make management decisions for the Hospital What You’ll Bring Experience -Minimum of 5 years of experience required Education/Certification   -Bachelor's degree required   -Master s degree and/or CPA preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities •Exceptional verbal and written (including presentations) communication skills required •High personal, ethical, and professional conduct •Excellent quantitative and analytical skills •Strong grasp of business and financial principles •Strong problem solving skills •Excellent interpersonal skills •Ability to serve as productive member and leader of team •Ability to develop and present complex concepts to large audiences •Excellent computer skills, including word processing, MS Excel, database, graphics, and other relevant software What We Offer •Competitive pay, bonus incentives, and relocation •Medical, dental, and vision insurance •401k with Company match •Company paid basic life insurance and long-term disability coverage •Generous paid time off, including an additional extended illness bank •Tuition Reimbursement •Advancement and career development opportunities
