Hillcrest has opportunities in adult RT throughout the hospital! Our opportunities are full time and PRN nightshift.
What You’ll Do
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for delivering efficient, effective, and quality respiratory care. The successful candidate will be able to:
Administer oxygen, various treatment modalities, and ventilator management
Demonstrate knowledge of specific conditions, diseases, and treatment therapies
Communicate therapeutic interventions to nursing and medical staff
Document therapy and patient response to therapy
Respond as part of the Rapid Response team
What You’ll Bring
Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care required
Oklahoma state licensure in Respiratory Care required
Must have a passion for excellence
Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professionalism displayed through sound judgement, initiative, and flexibility
Good interpersonal, communication, team-work, and customer service skills
Strong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through skills
Ability to multi-task constantly, react to changes quickly/productively, and tolerate interruptions
Ability to perform work when no directions are given, and give directions to others
Remain flexible, organized, professional and able to analyze, make sound decisions under stressful situations
Demonstrate maturity and accountability
