JOB TITLE: FOOD SERVICES WORKER
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION: Works under close supervision in performing a variety of tasks within the Dietary Department. Sets up the dish room in preparation for the washing of cooking and serving utensils, patient trays, cafeteria dishes, and tableware. Assists in loading patient trays on carts and delivers food carts to patient floors. Assists in general food production. Cleans dish room by taking out trash and mopping after each meal. Prepare and deliver late trays for patients as well as between meal nourishment. Communicate with patients, employees, and the public of all age groups. Assists, as necessary, in cafeteria. Adheres to local, state, federal, and other regulatory agency standards, codes, and laws.
Ability to read and record information well enough to follow instructions and basic department procedures
Good communication skills are a must

Hours vary between 5A & 7:30P
Weekend rotation is three on, one off
