The Cardiac Sonographer will need to be proficient in TTE, TEE & Stress Echo. Performs routine and specific duties on a schedule or as dictated by the work load. Assists in evaluation, coordinating, implementing and maintaining all new and existing ultrasound scanning policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be an individual who is self-motivated, as well as a team player, who can deliver a positive patient experience. Works under general supervision in preparing patients and performing Cardiac exams for diagnostic purposes. Trouble shoots equipment problems as necessary and relays major problems to Supervisor or Imaging Director. Prepares, reports and maintains records of services rendered according to specific procedures. Provides a safe environment for patients and demonstrates concern for providing care of the highest quality.
