Job Description

Develop digital and print content strategies to align with short and long term organizational goals, supporting the needs of various stakeholders including service line partners, executive leadership, advancement and fundraising team members and more A strong writer, who’s able to write for multiple audiences and matches the brand’s voice throughout Own Editorial Content Calendar for marketing and communications teams Create engaging content in the form of thought leadership articles, blog posts, social media posts, videos and more Track and analyze metrics related to content performance and engagement to guide effective sharing and define future content strategy and content development efforts Project manage content development as needed to ensure timely delivery and sharing across platforms for both internal and external audiences Ensure consistency of brand messaging in all content Edit, proofread and improve content developed by other team members Collaborate with team on new ideas, strategy and tactics for marketing and communications Under the direction of the Communications Director, plan, review and execute communications and campaigns that promote our comprehensive programs Develop content that can be repurposed and used across all channels and platforms Assist in the annual development and implementation of the department’s communications strategy Maintain graphic standards and center-wide branding efforts in order to effectively communicate the brand story to the public Distribute materials regarding issues that impact the organization and convey its position Minimum Requirements   Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field 3-plus years’ experience in a marketing or communications position, including experience with web editing and communications planning Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Knowledge of SEO, web traffic metrics, and social media best practices Experience coordinating agency partnerships, in addition to the creation of messaging plans and media relations support Knowledge of photo editing and graphic design software Proficient in Microsoft Office Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills required and exhibited ability to meet tight deadlines Preferred: Experience working in an agency and/or health care environment Experience with Wordpress and Google Analytics Some knowledge of HTML and familiarity with various website CMS (Content Management Systems) also preferred
