What You Will Do
Every day that you come to work, you improve people’s lives! At Sacred Heart Hospital, as our Physical Therapist, you are entrusted to help lead and guide patients down the road to recovery and restored function. Whether the patient's problem is a result of injury or disease, you foster the patient's return to maximal function, as our Physical Therapist.
Additionally, you will evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
Performs initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition.
Establishes, revises and evaluates a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family.
Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.
What You Will Need
BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
Master's degree in a related field, or combination of Bachelor's degree and related experience preferred.
