Responsible for the setting up of trays and service of meals served from dietary during shift. Follows established Policies and Procedures for Daniels Memorial Hospital and the Dietary Department.
Requires no specialized training or education. Only abilities to function on the job. Standards of performance must be attained after a few weeks on the job. Must be able to read and write English, be able to concentrate for long periods of time, have neat appearance and personal cleanliness, and be able to follow instruction and be able work with people. Standing on feet for extensive amount of time. Some exposures to hazardous conditions such as hot equipment, hot food, and loud noise. Work consists of light lifting to heavy lifting. May be required to use tools or equipment involving the use of some judgement.
