Answer the telephone, page calls and page for staff, deliver messages to residents and staff members.
Receive inquiries and release information in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Greet visitors and direct to appropriate areas of facility, staff members or patient/residents rooms.
Assist with administrations duties such as but not limited to;
Records vs, wts and meals
Keeping nurse staff informed of residents appts
Calling in staff when needed
Answer call lights via call light system
Complete admission paperwork/transfer paperwork as directed
Assist in Emergency room when able.
Assist in maintaining ER, nurse’s desk area and day room area in a clean and sanitary manner.
Knowledge of departmental and facility policies and procedures, HIPAA and confidentiality requirements, abuse policy and patient and resident rights
Complete required reports for Hospital preparedness and be able to utilize mass calling systems.
1. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
2. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
About Daniels Memorial Healthcare Center
Daniels Memorial Healthcare Center is located in the extreme Northeast corner of Montana in the community of Scobey. We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit 25 Bed Critical Access Hospital with a Rural Health Care Clinic and 24 hour Emergency Room Care. We offer Home Health, Community Health & Hospice services. DMHC also houses outpatient therapy services in the Bjerke Wellness Center including physical therapy, speech & occupational therapies. The Wellness Center boasts of having one of the only therapy pools in Eastern Montana. DMHC has full time laboratory and radiology services, including 1 hour turnaround, 24 hours a day on X-Ray through our CR Reader. Pharmacy and dietician services are available via contracted personnel. Audiology and OB-GYN services are offered monthly through visiting specialists. Rural Practice at its best!
