Buena Vista Regional Medical Center is a Joint Commission accredited facility with a 60 year history of improving the health of the people and communities it serves. BVRMC has over 400 employees and is a 25 bed critical access facility with a 10 bed geriatric behavioral health unit offering a wide range of medical, surgical and specialty services. BVRMC has an annual expense budget of more than $40 million. A new addition opened in 2016 and houses a new lab, business office, medical/surgical floor, OB, and ER.
