Pointe Coupee General Hospital
Pointe Coupee General Hospital, which serves as the central core of parish healthcare, was founded as a Hospital Service District in by act of the state legislature and is governed by a nine member Board of Commissioners. The hospital is part of a twenty-three acre campus that provides physician offices, mental health, public health, sanitation office, substance abuse and Council on Aging. Pointe Coupee General is located on the banks of beautiful False River which is approximately thirty-five miles north of Baton Rouge, LA and directly across the Mississippi River from St. Francisville, LA.
