Regions Hospital is a premier, full-service, private hospital providing outstanding medical and surgical care with special programs in heart, women's care, cancer, seniors' services, burn, emergency and Level I trauma. Established in 1872, the hospital has served the Twin Cities and surrounding region for more than 135 years. Received this national recognition by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Of the estimated 6,000 critical care units in the U.S., fewer than 250 have received this honor.

Organ Donation

Regions received an organ donation medal of honor from the U.S. Health and Human Services Department for its commitment to organ donation. Only 370 hospitals in the country received the award.
