Located on the west side of Chicago, Sinai Health System is recognized for our vision to become a national model for the delivery of urban healthcare. Sinai Health System is comprised of Mount Sinai Hospital, Sinai Children's Hospital, Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital, Sinai Medical Group, Sinai Community Institute and Sinai Urban Health Institute.
Mount Sinai Hospital is a 319-licensed bed teaching hospital that provides a wide array of high quality medical, surgical, behavioral health, therapeutic and diagnostic services. The Emergency Department, a Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center, provides care to over 56,000 patients each year. The Labor and Delivery unit welcomes nearly 3,000 newborns annually. A major teaching hospital for the Chicago area, Mount Sinai Hospital trains more than 700 health care professionals through undergraduate, graduate, residency and fellowship programs each year.
Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital is a 102-licensed bed facility with comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services for adults and children. Schwab offers a unique therapeutic environment featuring seven treatment gyms with advanced equipment, a warm-water indoor therapeutic pool and an award-winning therapeutic rooftop garden.
Sinai Children’s Hospital includes a Level III (the highest level of care) neonatal intensive care unit, a pediatric intensive care unit, pediatric trauma care, pediatric surgery and anesthesiology. A wide range of specialty pediatric care is available at Sinai Children's Hospital, including gastroenterology, nephrology, allergy, hematology, endocrinology, urology and neurology. It also offers a variety of resources, including a pediatric weight management program and an HIV/AIDS program.
Sinai Medical Group provides a wide range of medical and surgical specialties, at Mount Sinai Hospital and at Sinai Health System sites in the Chicago area. Our team includes more than 200 employed specialists and primary care physicians who are committed to providing high-quality care.
Sinai Community Institute (SCI) has a history of developing impactful community-based health and social service programs to improve our community’s health and well-being. SCI's programs are designed to address the social, economic and environmental factors that affect the health of community members, from infants to adolescents to older adults. Approximately 25,000 clients per year benefit from these services.
