Montana State Hospital (MSH) is a 201 bed state psychiatric hospital located in Warm Springs, Montana. MSH is the only state hospital in Montana. The Hospital has about 700 admissions and discharges per year. Procedures for hospital admission are specified in state law. Admission, discharge, and treatment are coordinated with regional community mental health programs across the state.

 

Montana State Hospital is recruiting for the position of Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse to provide inpatient psychiatric treatment to adults on involuntary commitments. This is an outstanding opportunity for psychiatric APRN who enjoys working with a multi-disciplinary team using a patient centered approach. Our vision is to provide outstanding treatment services at the hospital and to facilitate continuation of treatment in local communities across the state. You would join a staff of eight  psychiatrists, three primary care physicians, three advanced practice mid-level practitioners, and other dedicated professionals. There is a strong sense of collegiality among a seasoned and well-established medical staff.
