The facility in conjunction with the Medical staff works hard to identify and then provide, as appropriate and able, consulting specialists and services. Currently the facility offers the following:  radiology, pathology, urology, general surgerym tele-cardiology and podiatry are available to support Malta’s primary care physicians & mid-level providers.  Excellent support services are available to physicians and mid-level providers including: an experienced, quality and professional clinical and support staff.  The facility also offers state of the art lab, x-ray and CAT scan technology and capabilities along with other technological advances as appropriate for the level of care provided.  Other support services include: stress treadmill, colonoscopy & gastroscopy, pharmacy, physical therapy, ambulance transport (ground and air), mammography, audiology, home health and mental health counseling.

Malta, a friendly and family oriented rural community of approximately 2,000 people, is located in the Missouri River Breaks country of northeast Montana.  Malta is the county seat of Phillips County.  The county contains 5,131 square miles of rolling, grassy plains and a county wide population of about 4,200 people.  Malta has an active chamber of commerce, economic development corporation and a business district with well-stocked businesses. The economy has a solid agriculture and ranching foundation.  Opportunities for outdoor activities include: hiking, boating, fishing, hunting, golfing and water skiing to name a few and are plentiful with the Milk and Missouri Rivers and Nelson Reservoir nearby.  The community has excellent schools, clean air, good shopping and no congestion, pollution, or big-city crime.  The larger Montana cities of Great Falls and Billings are both 200 miles (each a 3½ hour drive) away.
