Responsibilities

Req ID: 60753
Provides assistance to physicians while scrubbing invasive diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular, peripheral vascular and endovascular procedures. Monitors patient hemodynamic status while collecting, interpreting and processing data for physician analysis. Assists in the operation and troubleshooting of a wide variety of cardiovascular equipment.

Education

Graduate of an accredited program of Cardiovascular Technology

Qualification/Skills

Skills
Strong clinical knowledge base in cardiac diagnostics or cardiology
Strong critical thinking skills
Ability to work intimately with patients and families throughout the life continuum
Ability to establish effective relationships with health care team members, managers, leaders and key persons who relate to the patient and family during times of illness, crisis and development

Licensure/Certifications
BLS required
ACLS desirable
RCIS highly desireable

Work Schedule

Four 8-hour days per week 9:00am - 5:30pm
