Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular, endovascular and structural heart procedures. These duties include circulating, scrubbing, monitoring and hemodynamic recording, while actively participating in the evaluation and delivery of therapies for patients in the laboratory. Assists in the operation and troubleshooting of a wide variety of cardiovascular equipment.


Graduate of approved Invasive Cardiovascular Technology/Surgical Technology program or a baccalaureate degree in life, physical science, or health care related field.


Two years previous cardiovascular lab experience preferred.
Knowledge and desire to learn cardiovascular theory, physiology, pathophysiology, and procedural techniques. Sound judgment and skills in critical thinking and communication. Basic hardware and software computer knowledge for hemodynamic monitoring and recording. Effective performance as member of the healthcare team. Skills in listening, compassion; personal respect and acceptance of individuality. Dexterity in the technical assistance required during procedures. Understanding and adherence to sterile techniques and asepsis.

BLS required
ACLS required within 6 months of hire (training provided).
RCIS highly desirable

Four 10-hour days per week
