Provides clinical expertise and care related to nutritional support in an outpatient setting.
Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates educational programs for patients concerning nutrition.
Offers general health management for nutrition patients and groups. Distributes education literature to patients.
Responsible for community programming and education.
Oversees the weight management program for adults. Coordinates and helps to facilitate children's weight management program.
Conducts presentations to groups of all sizes regarding nutrition education/cooking classes.
Provides education and training for patients and healthcare providers on the theories, principles, and practices of specialized nutritional support.
Participates in and generates research and outcomes studies relating to specialized nutritional support.
Represents Healthpark in community as nutrition expert. Writes article in local newspapers, speaks to groups and regularly speaks with media on topics.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Nutrition, Food Service Management or related field required. A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Licensed as a Registered Dietitian (RD) in the state of Kentucky required. Basic Life Support (BLS)Healthcare Provider and First-Aid certification required within 90 days of employment in this position.
A minimum of 1 years' experience in a related clinical position preferred.
