NP/PA Blue Ridge Urgent Care Fellowship

A 12 month post-graduate urgent care fellowship program for FNPs and/or PAs to develop a knowledge base to effectively manage patients with acute illness and injury in an ambulatory care setting. Providers establish the skill sets to efficiently practice and manage patient flow in an area that concentrates on the delivery of care in a higher patient volume and fast paced environment. This transition-to-practice program prepares the FNP or PA to deliver safe, effective care while in a protected learning environment.

Fellowship is based in Morganton, NC with Carolinas HealthCare System Blue Ridge in partnership with Atrium Health

Eligibility

Completion of an accredited PA or NP master'sprogram*
National board certification as a PA or NP*
North Carolinas licensure as a PA or NP*
DEA licensure*
Designated drug screening*
Acceptable criminal background check
BLS (and ACLS or PALS for acute care tracks)*

*Theseitems must be completedno later thansix weeks priorto start date of fellowship, not necessary at the time of application.
