Job Description


Supporting the Vice President of Patient Care Services and several nursing supervisors on this team, the Administrative Specialist III performs a combination of administrative, project, and secretarial work in an exciting, supportive team atmosphere. This position requires extensive work in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in Outlook, PowerPoint and Word as it involves managing calendars and scheduling complex meetings, creating and editing both internal and external presentations which may involve working with others to accomplish. Other responsibilities include; managing databases, processing invoices and disbursement/reimbursement requests, maintaining inventory of office supplies and covering other administrative team members while out of the office. An ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task while remaining focused and composed and thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable environment. The Administrative Specialist III is an integral member the Patient Care Services team.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
License/Certifications: N/A
Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in an administrative support role required.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong multi-tasking skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
