Organizes and initiates overall supervision of dietary operation in all phases which will result in the preparation of safe, palatable appropriate foods served to all patients and personnel within budgeted allocations. Prepares food as required following Dietitian recommendations. Follows and implements state and federal guidelines and regulations. Prepares budget for department to include supplies, labor, etc.
This position will manage the employees of the dietary department.
Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Services or be a Certified Dietary Manager
Prefer 2 or more years’ experience as dietary manager (or similar position) in health care setting
Prefer 4 yrs. experience in health care food service industry.
Must have current Food Handlers Permit for Washington State.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
