Administrative Assistant II

Under the direction of the Supervisor of Administrative Services, performs a combination of administrative, project, and secretarial work. The position is responsible for coordinating the day to day activities of the assigned department and administrative operations while working closely with the management staff and providers as necessary. Coordinates meetings and assists with maintain schedules for senior management, as needed. Discretion and judgment is required in screening visitors and telephone calls, editing materials, releasing information, dealing with patient inquiries and organizing own workload to meet established priorities.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Working knowledge of medical terminology is desirable.
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Oral and written communication needs to be professional, clear and concise.
Ability to perform non-complex math calculations when preparing bills and budgets and organize and maintain recordkeeping and filing systems.
Must be able to work any shift, holiday and/or weekend as needed.
Must be able to travel among company sites as needed.
