Ensure that all practice functions are performed at a high level of quality, meeting all applicable regulatory and professional standards. Includes, day to day staff management, customer service, maintaining patient schedule for providers, interaction with clinical staff, as well as compliance with all local, state and federal laws.
Oversee and manage the day-to-day services that include but not limited to answering telephones, scheduling of procedures/appointments, collections, registration, prior-authorization, referrals, staff schedules, payroll, ordering of supplies, and medical records.
Assists providers, front office and clinical staff, as necessary, to fulfill any duties for normal operations, assisting with clinical issues, coordinating patient tests, referrals, etc.
Support administration, providers, and directors/managers in planning, implementing, and directing all practice activities.
Ensure practice management standards are met
Appropriately documents coaching, counseling, and disciplinary activities in compliance with applicable policies and regulations
Conducts timely employee reviews and provides appropriate constructive feedback and training when necessary.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with employees, payers, patients, and the public.
Maintains HIPAA confidentially regarding patient and/or family in accordance with professional and departmental standards.
Understanding of medical office practices that relate to front reception, referrals, triage/calls, nursing or medical assisting, and payments/collections.
Basic computer and typing skills
Knowledge of ICD-10 coding/diagnosis and medical terminology

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education High School Diploma or equivalent; Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse
At least three years healthcare experience and/or working in a clinic setting.
One year supervisory experience preferred.
License/Certification Licensed LPN/LVN in New Mexico, BLS/CPR preferred
ENVIROMENTAL CONDITIONS:Work environment consists of daily patient contact, which may include exposure to blood, or other body fluids.
