Chief Clinical Officer Executive level position responsible for overall strategic direction, coordination, and evaluation of nursing and non-nursing clinical services. Bachelorís degree in nursing or healthcare related field required. Masterís preferred. Provides oversight and leadership in the development, implementation and evaluation of clinical programs. Represents Avera Holy Family Hospital in the community, and serves on boards, task forces and committees as appropriate. Develops and maintains strong collaborative relationships and communication with the Board of Nursing, regional nursing, other professional educational organizations, and Avera Health clinical administration regarding standards, policies, quality improvement, services and other factors that impact clinical services. Actively participates in collaborative efforts with the medical staff to include, but not limited to, Medical Staff committees and activities as appropriate. Serves as the Privacy Officer.
