Credentialed x-ray technologist, proficient/registered in angiography, mammography or additional imaging modality. Maintain QI project. Position requires some on-call duties.
Candidate must be available to work the evening shift and rotating weekends and holidays.
Collaborates with all members of the health care team to provide quality patient care.
Responsible for organizing and performing laboratory testing in lab and ensures that testing is in compliance with governing bodies.
Uses critical thinking skills and professional judgment to evaluate test results, troubleshoot lab problems, and provide clinical interpretations and expertise.
Assures quality results through the use and evaluation of control materials, proper instrument maintenance, daily documentation and collection and analysis of appropriate samples.
Maintains laboratory records, follows laboratory policies and procedures and maintains quality control and quality improvement practices.
Performs routine function checks and maintenance on laboratory analyzers, troubleshoots and repairs instrumentation.
Assists in the training of personnel in clinical procedures.
Utilize Cerner Millennium software efficiently.
High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED), required.
Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Certified by the State of Wyoming to practice and administer radiation.
Capable of working independently. Needs no mentoring.
Capable of performing Diagnostic Radiology call.
Capable of performing all Diagnostic Radiology procedures.
Capable of performing independently, a minimum of one advanced imaging modality; i.e. Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Radiation Therapy, and/or being designated as one of the mammography quality assurance lead technologists.
Attendance and document hospital sponsored clinical education course in advanced modality. ie Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy and mammography.
Current BLS certification.
A minimum of one year of experience under a Board Certified Radiologist.
