Provides quality radiographic images for diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures
Operates equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturers and regulatory standards / Minnesota state law
Understands and practices principles of Radiation Safety
Assistant to physician doing procedure maintaining sterile technique
Provides imaging with minimum required radiation dose
Assessment / evaluation of previous contrast reaction, specific patient requirements
Evaluates previous procedure history, locates records / exams
Provides pre / post procedure patient data processing
Acts as staff / MD resource regarding radiology and procedures
Accurately captures supply and procedure charges for billing purposes
Graduate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
A.R.R.T. Registered Technologist
Strong clinical knowledge base in interventional radiology
Strong critical thinking and patient care competencies for assessment intervention, and contributing to health care team planning evaluation
The ability to work intimately with patients and families throughout the live continuum
Ability to establish effective relationships with heath care team members, managers, leaders and key persons who relate to the patient and family during times of illness, crisis or development
Be a resource for anatomic viewing
Able to take off premise call every 4th weekend or more and holidays. The scheduled hours of call is 7am - 5pm (10 hours) Saturday and Sunday and including holidays. Not on call the remainder of the day. Schedule available during time of interview.
Must be willing to rotate to Mercy campus also if needed. Interested in someone who could also help our when staff are on PTO.
