The Division of Abdominal Radiology is seeking a qualified candidate who desires an advanced diagnostic radiology clinical practice with opportunities for research and education. Patient care is a priority in both an outpatient and inpatient environment. Work areas include diagnostic subspecialty interpretation of abdominal and pelvic CT and MRI studies including GU, GI, and GYN, as well as GI fluoroscopy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop a satisfying academic career in a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology practice performs over 40,000 CT and 16,000 MRI clinical abdomen/pelvis exams per year. This includes a large volume of subspecialty examinations such as MR prostate (> 3700/ year ), CT enterography (> 2700/ year ) and MR enterography (> 1300/ year).
The Department of Radiology has a large residency and fellowship program and a significant infrastructure for innovation and research in CT and MRI with existing interdisciplinary research groups and dedicated research scanners. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a commitment to excellence in all aspects of patient care, and a strong interest in research, innovation, and/or education.
