Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to function proficiently within all areas of materials process & distribution.

Receive and verify all supplies, equipment, inventory and non-inventory.

Delivers and/or ships out parcels and equipment and maintains records.

Pick, pack and deliver stores requisitions.

Perform all related computer/manual processing of paper documents.

Physical unloading of trucks (may be on a daily basis.)

Performs supply activity in support of the inventory management process.

Maintains and orders oxygen and related medical gases as required.

Transport, process and stores specific equipment, carts and maintains records.

Operate mail machine and process all incoming and outgoing mail.

Knowledge of Infection Control protocols.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required

One year of hospital storeroom/receiver experience.

Computer experience preferred. Typing at 35 WPM

Understanding the application of equipment to a hospital setting is preferred.

Education Required

High school graduate: written and verbal English skills at a 12th grade level. Verbal communication is necessary.
