Position Summary
• Maintain minimum clinical practice requirement in the APP role in order to maintain licensure

• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to support research and evidence based practice
• Strategically plans and executes program growth, development and organizational change

Qualifications

Experience & Knowledge:
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as an APP
Management of people and fiscal resources in clinical setting experience
Demonstrates the ability to facilitate change, excellent communication and organizational skills
Project management; preferred

Education/Expertise:
Masters prepared Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
At least 4 years APP clinical experience in Urology
Demonstrates skills in human relations, human & material resource management
Evidence of ability to provide exceptional clinical and administrative leadership

Required Credentials, Licensure or Certification (i.e. RN, RRT):
Nurse Practitioner:
Current RN license to practice in Ohio
Current APRN license to practice in Ohio
Nurse Practitioner Certification
-or-
Physician Assistant:
NCCPA-certified PA (PA-C) or eligible to be certified.
Must meet all requirements of the Ohio State Medical Board for Physician Assistants.
Approval by the Ohio State Medical Board of standard or supplemental physician assistant utilization plan and supervision agreement between supervising physician and physician assistant before beginning work as a PA.
Must be credentialed by University Hospitals of Cleveland credentialing office before beginning work as a PA
