The Coordinator works under the direction of the Manager, Director or Designated Leader. Manages daily patient care activities, personnel, and departmental operations. Regularly performs the job duties of a registered nurse to include all aspects of the nursing process. Is accountable for assuring quality outcomes and appropriate resource consumption. The coordinator will complete primary job duties based on the needs of the Department and the Manager. The RN provides care based on established standards of care and expectations. 1. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, either through an ADN, Diploma or BSN program.
2. Licensure/Certifications: Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of North Carolina. American Heart association BLS required: Some departments have additional advanced CPR requirements as listed on staff annual education record. Must maintain the annual required CEU's as defined by NCBON. Additional hours may be required by the unit or department.
3. Experience: 1 year in clinical setting required.
