General Description of the Job: To provide administrative support to the DUHS Clinical Laboratories HR Team.
Duties and Responsibilities of this Level:
Provide support to DCHRO that may require meeting arrangements by contacting participants, scheduling room, sending out invitations, arranging for special meeting needs. (50%)
Provide support to the DUHS Clinical Laboratories Finance Team. Specifically, provide support for Courier Services including processing gas receipts, providing cell phone assignment, and monthly reporting. The administration of Verizon cell phone service includes all eligible Clinical Laboratory staff. In addition, provide assistance for the budgeting and tracking of actual continuing education / travel costs, as well as other Finance projects and reports as needed. (33%)
Provide support to all Work Culture Committees by attending meetings and composing minutes. (5%)
Prepare for the monthly DUHS Clinical Laboratories Orientations by scheduling the room, inviting the attendees, confirming attendance, and communicating with Searle center. Send out notifications and receive RSVPs for Annual Leadership Luncheons. (4%)
Provide administrative support for all Clinical Laboratory HR Events Lab Week, Ice Cream Celebrations, and Celebrations. (3%)
Maintain, order, and conduct inventories on HR Supplies. (3%)
May provide back-up to HR Generalist to make travel arrangements for applicants coming in for interviews. (2%)
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Proficient on an intermediate to advanced level with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher.
Must possess interpersonal skills showing the ability to collaborate with others.
Must be able to communicate verbally, in writing, and electronically.
Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to change priorities regularly.
HR experience highly preferred,
High school education or equivalent.
Two years ofadministrative support experience of increasing variety and/or complexity
Degrees, Licensures, Certifications
