Position Summary The Accountant is responsible for maintaining complete and systematic records of financial transactions for Coastal Healthcare Alliance. In addition, the Accountant is responsible to prepare journal entries, transactions, reconciliations, and reports. It is the responsibility of the Accountant to reconcile and make necessary general ledger journal entries correctly and in a timely manner. It is also the Accountants responsibility to keep the Regional Accounting Manager informed of any significant changes in account balances of the operation.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) A degree in accounting or 4 to 5 years experience in accounting, preferably in nonprofit accounting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, technical skills and attention to detail.
