CNA Day Shift

Full time 40 hours per week at Birch Bay Retirement Village.
The CNA is responsible for the provision of hands on care and services to meet identified resident needs. This includes coordination with other CNA/CRMA/PSS staff, implementation of the interdisciplinary service plan for each resident, reporting changes to resident condition and documenting resident physical ability to perform self-care. The CNA observes, documents, and reports all aspects of resident activities of daily living to ensure appropriate level of care and placement. The CNA works under the direction of the RCC or Quality Care Coordinator and under the supervision and guidance of the RN to maintain the highest levels of physical, psychological, social and spiritual well-being in accordance with the resident service plan and current standards of care.
Education, Training or Certifications Required:
Must be 16 years old, CNA certification in good standing.
One or more years experience in geriatrics. Familiarity with memory loss care
BLS within 120 days of hire date. Basic computer skills preferred.
