This role will be responsible for supporting the director in managing the complex operation ofthe department including the transition to a new software tool that will beintegrated with Workday, Kronos, and ServiceNow. This role will also supportalignment with IS on outage (incident) processes as more medical devices arebecoming part of an IoT system. Additional areas of support include regulatorypreparedness, reporting andbenchmarking, and special projects.

Below are key areas of responsibility:

1. Analysis and documentation

Identify and define business requirements.
Analyze and document functional requirements.
Document interface requirements.
Develop data flow diagrams and/or workflow diagrams.
Document requirements and receive validation and signoff from the stakeholder.
Manage requirement conflicts.
Communicate and negotiate with internal IS providers of hardware, software and network requirements.
Design and develop customization of workflows.
Implements, modifies, tests and administer business system applications.
Conduct Analysis of business user needs and revise existing systems as needed.
Identify, define and document business processes in need of improvement/implementation.

2. Customer management and support
Define & develop reports.
Builds and executes test cases.
Test changes.
Provide end user support.
Develop user documentation.
Understands and follows the incident management process
Understands and follows the change management process.
Understands and follows the release management process

3. Project Management
Successfully manages small/medium projects using industry and Allina Health tools/templates
Participates in medium/large project teams.

Education

BS/BA or equivalent preferred or applicable work experience with technical application systems or HTM operations.

Qualification/Skills

Minimum 3 - 4 years business applications experience in broader and complex areas. May have significant expertise in business area or with particular information system

Under general supervision, serves as subject matter expert associated with content, processes and procedures for areas of responsibility

Implements, modifies, tests and administer business system applications.

Defines detailed requirements, analyzes business needs, and validates solutions with the customer.

Responsible for basic project planning and management.

Troubleshoots complex situations and relationships.

Ability to successfully facilitate meetings.

Liaison between IS and Clinical Engineering Services to resolve workflow or functional questions.

Conducts analysis of business and users needs and revises existing systems as needed.

Recommends and documents procedural changes.

Basic report writing and analysis, including design of simple computer screens and reports.

Strong communication skills internally and externally.
