Position open to any Mayo Clinic site. If located at a MCHS site, must be able to travel to Rochester up to 2 times per week.
Provides consultative services to departments, committees and other Mayo entities for the purposes of operational planning, enterprise analytics (data standardization, warehousing and delivery) activities, service or product line development, management and financial analysis, and continuous improvement of clinical or administrative operations. May provide clinical expertise and consultation to support clinical areas depending on background and subject matter expertise. Participates in multidisciplinary teams evaluating strategic, operational and financial aspects of the mission. Provides project management and analysis support for enterprise projects. May perform primary and secondary market analysis. May develop budgets and cost analyses. Works with leadership to provide unbiased and accurate information, analysis, consultation and recommendations to support strategic and operational initiatives for Mayo Clinic. Facilitates the identification of innovative solutions. May make presentations on assigned projects or proposals. May be involved in highly sensitive merger, acquisition or affiliation discussions. Remains current on an array of activities that may include analysis techniques, planning processes, information management tools and methodologies and advises on the proper use at Mayo Clinic. Designs, develops and recommends new approaches, methodologies and tools for data driven decision making and planning. Functions independently and initiates judgment in handling delegated responsibilities.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, Nursing or related field and a minimum of six years of related experience; or Master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, nursing or related field and a minimum of three years of related experience.
Experience must include several of the following areas:Data analysis, statistics, and critical thinking
Primary and secondary market research(qualitative and/or quantitative)
Exceptional presentation skills, including design and delivery
Scoping and defining business goals
Creation of data visualizations, dashboards and scorecards
Market planning and development
Development and documentation of training and education tools
Strategic and operational planning
