RN Radiation Oncology

A member of the radiation therapy treatment planning team who is responsible for initiating appropriate interventions for patients according to department philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures. The three basic functions are patient care, teaching and counseling, and the coordination of services with other members of the interdisciplinary team. Collaborates and provides educational opportunities for oncology patients, serves as a resource guide for patients, physicians, and community at large.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Current RN licensure in the state of Oregon.
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred.
Oncology experience and outpatient experience preferred.
Obtain BLS certification within 3 months of hire date, and maintain as current.
