Be a part of a collaborative and positive care team in this newly created position. Our Rheumatology Department has seen tremendous growth and is in need of an NP/PA to help further support an established patient population while increasing patient access for new patients. Rheumatology experience required; candidates will receive strong support and collaboration in patient care from our Physician team.
1.0 FTE, full-time status
Adult, outpatient practice setting
12-13 outpatients per day
No call or outreach
Established patient base that is ready for growth
Nurse Practitioner certification preferred; Rheumatology experience required!
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, while working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. The NP/PA will provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Bachelors or Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
Rheumatology experience required!
Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state(s) (if NP).
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in appropriate state(s).
Current certification in CPR
National certification, in applicable area.
Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
