Cambridge Medical Center, located just north of the Twin Cities metro area in Cambridge, Minn., provides comprehensive health care services in both a hospital and large multi-specialty clinic. With 800 employees, 66 physicians and 86 licensed beds, Cambridge Medical Center serves medical, surgical, specialty care, high-risk neo-natal care, substance abuse, mental health and wound care patients. Outpatient care includes same day clinic and surgery, infusion therapy, eye clinic, optical shop and retail pharmacy. Cambridge Medical Center is also a certified Virginia Piper Cancer Institute and Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute location.

Educates patients on sleep disorders, and the operation of sleep disorder devices
Assists patients in preparing for sleep studies, and instructs patients on standard sleep study processes/procedures
Acquisition of various Polysomnographic testing which meet acceptable technical criteria
Maintains patient records
Scores PSGs, MSLTs, MWTs and HST's
Successful completion of polysomnography program with a state licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility (preferred) -or-
Meets BRPT standards for a sleep technologist (preferred) -or-
Equivalent experience with documented proficiency in all required competencies of a Polysomnographic Technologist
1 or more years experience in polysomnography preferred
Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills
Strong knowledge of PAP devices
Critical thinking skills
Current license in allied health profession, if applicable
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Must be Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through BRPT or credentialed with Sleep Disorders Speciality from NBRC
Casual position. 12 hour nights starting @ 7:30 PM.
Possible alternate shifts to assist with patient testing or scoring tests.
