This position works collaboratively with patients to meet and improve their health and well-being within the outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings. This position will actively participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to case management. Delivering evidenced-based care that supports the Triple Aim of improved health outcomes, an exceptional patient experience and efficient use of resources is required.

Clinical skills should include the full depth and breadth of basic and complex urogynecologic conditions. Surgical expertise should include vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic-assisted approaches the management of urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse fecal incontinence and other conditions affecting the pelvic floor.

This position will participate in a call rotation covering days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Other required elements:
Complete all aspects of the medical record such as medication and problem lists, patient education, and billing encounter information.
Work to improve identified quality initiatives; serve as consistent advocate for quality improvement efforts.
Supports appropriate chain of communication, standards and policies within and across the care team to assure efficient, effective, and timely patient care by the appropriate providers.

Education

This position required a Medical Doctorate degree (M.D., Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O. or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine. Completion of an accredited fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) Physician in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Needs to be an OB/GYN trained Urogyn. Board certification preferred within two years of employment.

Qualification/Skills

Must have demonstrated experience in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.

Excellent communication skills verbal and written, time management, ability to collaborate with patients and team members, strong listening skills

Work Schedule

Weekday clinic schedule. This position will participate in a call rotation covering days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
