Job Description


The Admissions Recruiter applies professional expertise and exercises initiative and organizational skill to perform a wide range of duties in support of the Administrator for Enrollment Management, Director of Admissions and Recruitment Marketing, and School Deans and Administrators. Principal responsibilities include recruitment of new students and assistance and support with the transition from admitted student to enrolled student. Position involves significant relationship management with prospective and new students. Travel to local, regional, and national events for recruitment purposes and development of relationships with schools/institutions that serve as primary feeders to MCCMS academic programs is a primary responsibility of this role. The Admissions Recruiter conducts individual campus visits and tours for students or groups of students interested in MCCMS academic programs. Other duties include: managing a territory and the communication, recruitment, and relationship management of prospective students and influencers from within the assigned territory; assisting with coordination of visits orchestrated at the school or program level; participation in the production of publications and web resources; conducting follow up with Program Directors regarding prospective students, alumni, and program status; partnering with team members on data analysis, report development, and execution of recruitment plan.

The Admissions Recruiter must anticipate and carry out independent actions necessary to provide professional support to meet the needs of prospective students, families of prospective students, faculty, visiting faculty, physicians, and administrators. The Admissions Recruiter provides support for college committees and assumes responsibility for delegated administrative tasks. The Recruiter performs these duties independently and exercises judgment in handling questions raised by primary target audience members and influencers such as college and university advisors and career counselors; community college advisors, counselors, and faculty; and high school guidance counselors and teaching faculty.

Qualifications


Bachelors degree required. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written. At least three years of experience in higher education recruitment or related experience is required.
