The PHC Information Technology Division supports our community-focused healthcare system with 18 primary care facilities, 3 hospitals, home health care, hospice services, long term care and senior residence communities, health and a fitness center. We have attained national recognition for our pioneering approach to business intelligence and population health management. We were the first system to use Epics Cogito data warehouse in a production environment which afforded our ACO a method for managing their populations health. We have successfully attested for Stage 1 of meaningful use for our hospitals and physicians, as well as have attained Stage6 designation on the HIMSS Analytics EMR Adoption Model (EMRAM). We continue to be a leader in providing effective technology in support of our organizations healthcare strategies.
Hours: Monday - Friday primarily business hours and off-hours as needed to support infrastructure and project work.

The Network Engineer (staff or senior level) Communications manages all aspects of ProHealth Care's data, wireless, and voice network environments, including design, architecture, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring, and security of the environment. The Network Engineer Communications also conducts industry research and provides recommendations for emerging trends and network best practices. Emphasis is placed on the use of customer satisfaction, communications, teamwork, and professionalism.
The following are essential job accountabilities:
Oversee the network infrastructure, including Cisco routers and switches, VPN appliances, Cisco Wireless access points and controllers, as well as the Cisco voice infrastructure. This consists of the daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis of those.
Be able to install and configure network components, along with performing log review and analysis.
Be able to configure and support routing and LAN switching with Cisco network hardware and software including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF and IOS.
Be able to configure and support a Cisco lightweight wireless network infrastructure.
Have a working knowledge of Cisco voice infrastructure, including Communication Manager, gateways, voicemail, Contact Center, and collaboration tools.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
At least 2 years (with 4 or more preferred) of related technical experience working with Cisco IOS and Nexus network equipment, firewalls, wireless, and VoIP product solutions in an administrative capacity.
Certifications from our vendors and partners are preferred. This includes: CCNA, CCNA-DC and Network+.
Desire to remain current on technology and trends in the industry.
