Job Description


Position Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist participates as a strategic member of the Human Resources team and works closely with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) to support strategic initiatives. Areas of support include onboarding, employee relations, compensation, team engagement, performance management, talent development, and employee retention. Under limited direction from HRBP, this position will primarily perform project management work for assigned programs to ensure completion is on time and on budget and provide day to day support for team members.

Responsibilities:
Project management responsibilities include:

Creation and management of a detailed project plan for each assigned project.

Facilitate identification of key stakeholders, communicate with appropriate individuals, and ensure appropriate stakeholder engagement throughout the project life cycle.

Understand project scope, roles and responsibilities and assigned project tasks. Partner cross-functionally with appropriate individuals in order to deliver efficient and timely project delivery.

Collaborate with appropriate individuals to identify risks and issues that are not visible at the task level but impact the overall project or broader program and develop mitigation/response plans and prioritize based on impact.

Integrate and manage the program timeline by identifying all project internal & external interdependencies.

Develop timely and accurate reporting of project status including intervention and problem solving with appropriate individuals, creation of regular project dashboards to include cost.

Provide pro-active advice and counsel to team members on best practice to ensure project success. Seek opportunities to improve processes and facilitate process improvement projects.

Collect and maintain project documentation.

Other responsibilities include:

Lead and participate in assigned committees.

Develop and provide staff education/training sessions.

Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. Develop and present data to all levels of leadership.

Provide counsel in the interpretation and application of hospital policies through effective guidance for managers and team members ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements.

Support implementation of HR initiatives involving organizational culture, change management, leadership development, and career development.

Develop and document new and existing processes, procedures, and solutions to meet the business needs.

Perform broad professional human resources tasks to support policies and programs including onboarding, compensation, and performance appraisal processes.
