Job Description


Assists the Sr. Manager, supply chain operations with buyer supervision, managing the invoice exception process and contracting related activities.

Description:

Assist Buyers in a daily review and analysis of purchase order and/or invoice generated price changes.
Works with Supply Chain, Clinical Service Lines and Finance related to invoice match accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies to ensure on time supplier payment.
Engages vendor during price dispute and works to remedy.
Assists the Sr. manager of Supply Chain with Initiating all documentation required to affect price changes/contract implementation including GPO LOPs & LOCs.
Assists the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Operations with management of Supply Chain Contracts module.
Proactively works with Med/Surg distributor partner to ensure proper contract eligibility is received, thus reducing the number of price match exceptions.
Aids in the management and collection of consignment contracts per policy including ongoing changes per consignment addendums.
Utilizes all available software, systems and subscriptions such as ECRI to validate and/or establish benchmarked product/equipment pricing and negotiates as necessary with vendors to secure for CCHC.
Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings as assigned.
Must be courteous to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
Performs other work related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications


Bachelors degree (B.A/B.S.) from a four year college or university or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 1 year related Healthcare Supply Chain experience and/or training level; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with Peoplesoft Supply Chain Management or equivalent application.
Established high level use of all MS/Office systems and tools including Excel and Word.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
