The Commons, located in Minneapolis, is the headquarters of Allina Health, a not-for-profit health care organization serving patients and communities. Approximately 1,600 corporate and administrative service employees work at offices within Midtown Exchange, the site of the historic Sears retail complex at Chicago Avenue and E. Lake Street. Design, develop and support dashboards and reports that will help our leaders and team members understand and visualize data.
Develops predictive models for attrition, critical roles, and recruiting demands.
Identifies data analysis techniques required to deliver insights on talent acquisition and HR topics such as talent mobility and ROI on source channels.
Estimate and analyze future, past and present workforce requirements for critical roles and translates into actionable data to aid the achievement of business objectives.
Work proactively and independently to perform analysis of relevant metrics, uncover and interpret trends in data, and provide recommendations.
Maintain existing reporting infrastructure, analyzing data for possible issues, and implementing changes as required.
Assists in developing analytics story and visual presentation strategies to ensure data is conveyed in meaningful and interpretive formats for all end consumers
Effectively navigates Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Human Resources Management System (HRMS) and other HR Systems to gather data and provide reports.
Interprets employee and talent data to identify significant differences, relationships, and trends.
Assist in developing data collection, validation, and analysis tools to meet requirements for projects
Communicate findings in a clear concise manner adjusting message to meet the needs of the audience and influence decision making
Conduct secondary research studies as needed to supplement organizational data.
Develops and maintains appropriate benchmarks with other organizations.
Clearly tie people analytics to business objectives and outcomes.
Prepare weekly and monthly presentations with Metrics for various groups within HR & Allina business units.
As needed, produce ad-hoc reports and perform data mining, data consulting and other data analysis as needed.Qualifications


Preferred bachelors Degree in business, finance, math, human resources, IT or related fields of study.


Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years of related experience - within Workforce Planning/Staffing/Recruiting or HR field.
Preferred bachelors Degree in business, finance, math, human resources, IT or related fields of study.
Interest and aptitude in problem solving, data analytics, and statistical analysis.
Demonstrated ability in developing predictive models that drive business decisions and improve business outcomes, taking data from multiple sources and analyze for trends or relationships.
Ability to demonstrate responsibility and dependability when completing assignments both independently and as part of a team.
Professional demeanor-able to present to and interface with Senior/Executive Management.
Excellent time management skills-able to meet deadlines.
Great attitude and passion for data and developing solutions.
Proficient with MS Excel with emphasis on pivot tables as well as vlookup/hlookup, and graphs/charts & building presentations in MS PowerPoint .
Preferred experience with:
Brassring and/or Workday Recruiting software & PeopleSoft HRMS.
Data analysis software and business intelligence tools.
Proficiency with MS Excel PowerPivot & Analysis add-in functionality is a plus.
MS Access with experience in setting up and querying databases preferred.
