HR DATA ANALYST

Under the general direction of the System Manager of Compensation and Benefits, and System Director of Human Resources, the HR Data Analyst will assist the Human Resources department in multiple functions. This includes primary responsibility for the administration of physician compensation, in partnership with the Bozeman Health Medical Group and Finance department (payroll). This position will work collaboratively with the Medical Group to provide general process improvement for the administration of physician compensation as well as communication of compensation.
The HR Data Analyst will partner with various members of the HR team oversee data accuracy within the HRIS, monitor for inaccuracies, and make corrections as needed with appropriate documentation. The HR Data Analyst will have primary responsibility for auditing compensation within the HRIS to ensure organizationd wide accuracy. The HR Data Analyst will have primary responsibility for the completion of salary surveys.
The HR Data Analyst will assume a shared responsibility with other members of the HR team to provide reports as requested and assist managers, employees and HR team members with report running out of various HR systems.
The HR Data Analyst will partner with other the HR Data Analyst(s) to oversee the transition of current HRIS to new HRIS and upon transition share responsibility for data maintenance and answering employee/manager questions.
This role also supports various, general HR functions including, but not limited to: answering employee questions and providing HR clerical assistance.
Bachelor's Degree in business administration, finance, health care administration, or related field OR equivalent experience (4+ years)
LICENSURE and CERTIFICATION
Minimum of one (1) year of data analytics experience
2-4 years of Human Resources experience in a professional, office environment
2-4 years of Microsoft Office Suite experience; proficient in Excel, Access and PowerPoint
2 years of compensation analyst experience in a healthcare setting
KNOWLEDGE OF, SKILLS IN, ABILITY TO, COMPLEXITY AND DIFFICULY:
Personal computers, hardware, basic software programs including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook, Human Resource Information Systems, and Smartsheet

Oversee interface between Bozeman Health Medical Group, HRIS, and payroll to ensure the following:
Accurate calculation of physician compensation
Timeliness of process physician compensation changes and update within HRIS and timekeeping system
Ensure communication of physician compensation
Engage the appropriate physician compensation committee (an applicable leadership) when necessary
25% Time Spent -
Partner with HR team in the transition from current HRIS to new HRIS to ensure data accuracy during and after transition, process improvement, and education for employees and managers.
Shared responsibility for being point-of-contact for outside vendor(s), IS, managers, and employees during and after HRIS transition
20% Time Spent -
Shared responsibility for creating, generating, analyzing and communicating ad-hoc reports for managers and HR staff
Develop and monitor an audit process for HRIS data and audit as needed
Complete daily administrative tasks related to the aforementioned duties while continually improving processes, procedures to maintain data accuracy and reduce manual input
15% Time Spent -
Field employee questions (and coordinate with other HR team members) as it relates to compensation, data reporting, and coordinate with payroll regarding employee payroll questions.
Direct various employee questions to the appropriate contact/department
10% Time Spent -
Partner with HRBP for job description data base maintenance and the creation of new job codes as needed
5% Time Spent -
Complete daily administrative tasks related to the aforementioned duties while continually improving processes and procedures, to maintain data accuracy, reduce manual input, and provide a high level of customer service
Provide back-up support to front desk / HR assistant, HR Data Analyst, and System Manager as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
