Responsibilities

Req ID: 52319
Provides quality patient treatment that is individualized and consistent with the results of evaluations and plan of care
Occupational Therapist involves patients, significant others and other care givers in treatment planning implementation and revision of treatment program
Performs evaluations on patients seen in Occupational Therapy that are thorough, efficient and patient centered
Results of patient assessments are used as baseline measurements to determine the kind of care required to meet a patients initial needs, as well as his/her needs as they change in response to care
Therapists record on an ongoing basis, treatment rendered, progress and changes in status relative to care
Patient information is the basis for continuity of care and reimbursement of services

Education

BS, MS or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy

Qualification/Skills

Experience
1+ years experience

Skills
Assess age related general medical and environmental conditions and needs of clients
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to function independently as an interdisciplinary team member
Must be adaptable and flexible willing to cross over geographic areas in time of need
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to articulate the value of the OT discipline
Basic computer skills

License/Certifications
BLS
Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Minnesota (must supply a copy of license annually to HR/Manager)
