Job Description


The Administrator for Research Compliance serves as a senior administrative leader and oversees all ongoing activities related to research compliance policies and procedures. This includes: development, education of the workforce, implementation, maintenance of and adherence to policies and procedures covering research. Serves as a research compliance expert and primary source for providing comprehensive regulatory guidance to the research community; monitors regulations in areas of high compliance and/or regulatory risk. Serves as the Administrator for the Office of Research Regulatory Support in addition to compliance related responsibilities.

Qualifications


Advanced degree in Business, Law, Management and/or Healthcare related field required (e.g., MBA, JD, MHA, MS, MA, PhD) and five years of research and/or healthcare management experience. Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated successful collaborating with counterparts throughout the institution. Strong conflict resolution, complaint management mediation, and conflict negotiation and crisis intervention skills. An understanding of various research regulatory requirements, familiarity with and the ability to assimilate and interpret research policy and regulations in research operational activities is necessary.
