Physician Practice Manager

Job Description

The Practice Manager is responsible to provide on-site practice management services. Responsibilities involve all functions associated with the management of a physician practice including but not limited to: operations, staff scheduling, human resource issues, computer issues/updates, insurance contracting and credentialing, preparation and analysis of key performance indicators, billing and collections review, regulatory compliance, purchasing and inventory, accounts payable and payroll approval, and serve as physician liaison with Hospital.

Education Requirements

Associates degree is required.

Career Experience -

Minimum of five years of diverse healthcare management experience including physician billing, chart auditing, accounting, and compliance (HIPAA and OSHA)

Demonstrated leadership and management skills in a healthcare setting.

Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare practices and techniques associated with the scope and complexity of physician practice management.

Experience achieving government incentives such as Meaningful Use, PQRS, and HEDIS Measures.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities -

Strong desire and ability to create the ultimate patient experience: Every patient... Every time. Model service behaviors to match the Fisher-Titus CARES Values.

Knowledge of GE Centricity Software preferred. Excel, Word, Outlook Skills Required.

Ability to effectively manage staff resources and monitor efficient office work flow.

Ability to apply lean healthcare process improvement techniques to the workplace to eliminate waste, improve efficiency, reduce non-value added cost; all to assure we are "Doing the Right Work...The Right Way!
