Practices with a Customer Service approach to all activities.
Ensures adequate nutrition for patients utilizing the planning process.
Provides care as part of the interdisciplinary team.
Recommends therapeutic diets and nourishments safely to prescribing physicians.
Provides effective patient family teaching.
Documents according to entity department guidelines/protocols.
Utilizes internal and external resources.
Provides care according to best practice standards of care.
Identifies signs and symptoms of neglect abuse and reports as required by law.
Addresses age specific needs of infants, toddlers, school age, adolescents, adults, older adults.
Provides quality nutritional care for inpatients.
Utilizes techniques of time management effectively.
Other duties may be assigned.
Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and completion of an approved ADA accredited dietetic internship program required.
Minimum one (1) year hospital or clinical experience preferred.
Registration or RD- eligible with the American Dietetic Association required.
Must be able to speak in front of groups.
Must have basic keyboarding skills.
Schedule: 24 hours per week, shifts may vary from week to week, no weekends, no holidays
